I’ve known about the following article for roughly two to three weeks now (time gets warped during the Holidays, so I’m not going to be committal here), but it’s an article on the Battlestar Wiki and Wiki Frakr written by Sarah Toton. You can read the article here.

As long-time visitors to the Wiki know, Toton previously gave a presentation on the Battlestar Wiki at MIT5 which caused a stir, resulting in pretty interesting feedback, at least in my view.

Anyway, I’ll post my reactions to it in the coming days, probably after Christmas. Maybe sooner. (Again, I’m not being committal here, with this time being the holidays.)

In the meantime, I encourage everyone to discuss the article either here, there, or at the Battlestar Forum.

The Wiki Frakr has hit 100 articles since its inception on August 1st.

  • Fittingly, the 100th article is on a fan favorite from season 3: Bono Napkin.
  • Runner up was an article on chamalla.

But Bono has a nice picture! Really.

So mock we all!

Ah, yes, the whole “nearing numbers” game. Whaa! Whaa!

The Wiki Frakr, our evil twin in the mirror universe which doesn’t take its content all that seriously, is at 90 articles.

If you haven’t checked it out, and find Battlestar Wiki just a tad to serious for your liking, then you want to check out the Wiki Frakr! Yah.

We’re looking for humorous contributors to make fun of the series. (The only “serious” thing about the Wiki Frakr is that we don’t mock the actors, cast, or crew or real life events. After all, it’s just a frakkin’ television show.)

If you want to know how Frakr’d up that wiki is, Galactica 1980 is seen as the greatest show on Earth. Better than Rebo and Zooty, or Barnum and Bailey.

Now that’s what were talking about!
