We can now announce the winners to our survey raffle.

They are as follows:

 • David S., USA, Season 3 DVD Set (Grand Prize)
 • Keith T., USA, $10 USD Gift Certificate from (Second Prize)
 • Elizabeth L., Australia, Free One-Year Membership to Battlestar Forum and Battlestar Wiki (Third Prize)

The last two recipients who also won a free one-year membership to Battlestar Forum and Battlestar Wiki have not yet given me permission to add their names to the winner’s list, so I’ve withheld that information until such time as I get permission from them to do so.

To the thousand+ people who participated in the survey, we want to thank you for your opinions and feedback! We will be having another survey in June, after the first ten episodes of the fourth season have aired! So keep an eye on the blog for future announcements!

The episode guide for “He That Believeth In Me” is online. Omitted are the last two acts of the episode, due to our agreement with SciFi Channel/NBC-Universal. The last two acts, as well as information within them, will be online at 12:01 P.M. ET.

Also, as we’ve done in the past, we lock articles that pertain to the episode in order to ensure the website is online and accessible during and after airing

We don’t foresee the webserver crashing, but do expect some slowness as our traffic briefly increases.

Of course, you may discuss the season four premiere and any BSG topic on our exclusive Battlestar Forums.

Thank you for your patience and understanding! Enjoy Season 4!

So say we all!

As I noted earlier, I was one of the lucky frakwits that received a screener of “He That Believeth In Me”, the season four premiere episode written by Bradley Thompson and David Weddle, and directed by Michael Rymer.

Of course, because I had to sign a confidentiality agreement to get the screener, I am legally bound not to give spoilers. By the definition of the contract, it defines spoilers as any content that is contained in the last 15 minutes of the episode. So that is verboten, otherwise I fear that I may be airlocked, Laura Roslin-style.

I’ve revealed some things on the Battlestar Forum that I don’t consider spoilery, such as how the tail number on a certain pristine Viper is different from what’s been pictured in the various promotional photos for the episode, as well as have tried to fit in where the clips that have been floating around the internet have fit into the context of the episode… With varying degrees of success.

Well… I told you there would be more! So here are some images to go along with the commetary.

This was announced earlier, but if you are a registered member, you can set your skin to a widescreen version of the default skin. We are trying to figure out how to do an mobile skin and working on a light color skin for those who surf out doors or in a very lighted office.

The portal bar text side has been changed so you don’t have to squint to read the text. We also re-orginzied the layout with the new Caprica Portal and Episode Guide Portal.

This one is hard to see, if it’s a small image, but if you visited the site recently, you will notice a bar on the top of the site. That is our FrakMedia! network bar. This bar spans all our related Battlestar sites into one package. What to jump to the forum? Click the forum. The Wiki Frakr! — sure — not a problem. Also we updated every character we could find and removed old ones form the rotation and we are adding more and more from the other series to keep the content fresh and always new. A few surprise also. :) Course if you visit the site enough, you will end up seeing the same image over and over again.

This is most likly the end of this series. Enjoy Season 4! It starts in 2 days!

Last week, the blog Concurring Opinions began posting an interview with Ron Moore and David Eick, in which three professors (Daniel Solove, Deven Desai, and David Hoffman) interview them regarding various facets of the show. Discussions during these interviews included torture, government vs. military matters, the Cylons’ culture and other facets of the show.

Now, the interviews are available here in audio format. However, Battlestar Wiki has the privilege of transcribing and hosting the interview transcripts for Concurring Opinions’ interviews (with the blessings of all three professors who performed the interview), and we’re honored to have the complete first part of the three-part interview on the Wiki. You can read that here.

Complete transcriptions of parts two and three will be coming soon.
