Hi I’ve just had the pleasure of watching all re-imagined BSG episodes, including mini-series’s and webisodes back to back in a 50+ hour marathon. I absolutly recommend this to any BSG fan because you get a whole different experience when watched like this. This really does point out the quality of the show because I can’t think of many movies I would like to see stretch over this length of time.
Out of all the episodes from all seasons the only ones I think don’t work too well are episodes 14,15 and 16 from season two. The episodes named as: 14- Black Market, 15- Scar, 16-Sacrifice. I believe these episode were created under the instructions of Syfy as they wanted to have a story told in each episode to attract new fans who didn’t want to watch a season wide story. Anyway, I was glad they realised this was a mistake with BSG because it’s loyal fans wouldn’t have allowed any more of this. It’s just a shame that these three episodes were allowed to be aired in the first place because without them I would have to say the show would have hit perfection in my eyes.
Another, thing I think I should mention is, I couldn’t believe how much new stuff I saw when I watched the show this way, so many little things that I missed when watching an episode once a week that made the show more complete for me as it answered so many questions.

Anyway, the main reason I am posting here (other than to encourage others to watch BSG back to back) is to ask if anyone noticed an inconsistancy that I noticed. The first episode of season three: ‘Occupation’, when on New Caprica jammer was standing directly behind doug when he blew himself up while at the NCP graduation ceremony. The final shot of the episode saw all the NCP lying dead on the floor yet in episode two and up to ‘Collaborators: episode five’ we see Jammer fit and well with no signs of any injurys. Surely he should have died in the blast seen as he was directly behind the suicide bomber. Anyhow, enough of me being a geek, just wondered if anyone else noticed this! I imagine Ron & David knew about this but choose to let it slide because Jammer wasn’t a main character and not many people would have noticed.

I’m totally gutted BSG has come to an end, I saw the pilot for Caprica but I’m not convinced that it’s going to be anywhere close to delivering a story in the same league. It’s sad that this is all we will have left from the BSG world and I know it’s not going to satisfy me or many other fans I guess. I just hope and pray that in a couple of years Ron, David and Syfy decide to continue the story because I don’t want to see it end. Because I have grown so fond of BSG it almost feels like the BSG world is an alternate reality to ours and because it feels so real to me how can it just end. The story is never over, it can go on and on if the writers so wished. So if you ever read this Ron or David please bring this world back to life and give us fans back our alternate reality to escape to. Stuck for ideas? Believe me, I have plenty! Heres one: Remember Starbuck had her overy’s removed by the Cylons when she was in the Baby factory? ‘Farm’ It would be awsome if the Cylons decided to build a 13th Cylon model i.e Kara Thrace. This would make most fans cum in there pants with excitment. PLLEEAASE don’t kill BSG KEEP IT GOING.
