I’ve sent out the e-mails to our survey winners, so I hope to have a list of winners (and what they won) as soon as said winners get back to me on some things. One of those things is whether or not they want to be listed here as winners.

In the meantime, here is the summary of the results of the survey that 1000 people participated in. Note that there’s nothing personal in here, it’s just a statistical break down of how many people answered the questions, and what content they surfed the wiki for. I’ll talk more about the general responses sometime later this week, since I’m busy with other projects… But things are moving forward, and we are working on ways to better the site behind the scenes.

Keep the faith!

I’m pretty sure that the percentage of people who like Galactica 1980 probably falls within the sampling error of the poll, so the survey really can’t be used to prove if such people exist… ;)

I wasn’t surprised that the numbers were RDM-centric, but I was surprised at how high the original series numbers were. We should definitely continue to try to bring the original series episode guides and other articles up to the standards that the RDM pages are at.

Definitely agree with the continued focus on TOS articles. Particularly when it comes to the tie-in material as well, like the books and the old Marvel comics.

It is interesting that people admitted to liking 1980, though as you said they probably fall within the sampling error of the poll.

In practice that would mean that 47 people who selected “Galactica 1980″ either didn’t fill out the poll (or that particular question) seriously, or misclicked?
