Just an FYI to everyone using or wanting to use the new skin.
I’ve ironed out the issues with the skin and it should work properly in all three major browsers: IE 6 and higher, Firefox, and Safari.

I’m trying out the new skin using the Opera 9.5 beta build 9562 in XP. So far so good.
Tonight I’ll try it out in 9.23 (current stable) in Vista Home and in both versions in linux. Will report back later.
Awesome. I figure it’d work in Opera as well; if it works in Firefox and Safari, it’s bound to work in Opera.
Still it’s nice to know that it actually works though! Thank you!
I’ve tested this in Firefox, but there’s still an awful lot of empty space on the sides (using a 1440×900 res), see Image:Battlestar_firefox.png
Yeah, about the empty space issues on the sides… I was waiting to iron out all the wrinkles in this style before working on a flexible-width version for widescreens.
Also, I still need to go in and fix the style issues presented when someone uses the gallery tag. Minor issue, but this is the kind of stuff I want to get knocked out before we spawn off other styles from this mother style, as it were.
Looking good from here! Thanks, Joe!
Since this test went really well, we will be setting this one, as the version that will likely be the default skin for visitors and users can then select which skin they like to use.

Ok, Opera looks like it’s working everywhere I can test. It’s working in XP and Vista in the current 9.23 version as well as the before mentioned 9.5 beta.
It is also working in both versions in a couple of different linux distros. So, other than Mac which I can’t test, it’s looking good.
Mac is like the evil of evil for IE.
I pretty sure it’s fine though.
Most Mac users don’t use IE on their Macs anyway. Why should they, when they have Firefox and Safari. LOL
Isn’t there another browser also? I just can’t remember the name of it…
Do you mean Konqueror? That’s a Linux app though, ships with KDE.
