This is just a brief note that MediaWiki has released the first Release Candidate for version 1.11. As such, we considered upgrading, but have held off since the fixes we are looking for are not a part of the current release candidate, and the changes from 1.10 to the current 1.11rc1 are too minuscule to consider undergoing an update at the present time.

FYI, someone fixed the section-headers-with-wikilinks bug mere hours after rc1 was released. The fix will be included in rc2.
Well then… heh.
We’re going to wait until the 1.11 final comes out before doing any upgrades.
