There was a brief downtime with the SMTP server. As a result, automatic mail notifications were not sent out regarding updates to edited pages, new user welcome letters, and the like. Needless to say, it’s now fixed.

Several months ago, when we split up the server and reformed the machines, we created a non-profit production organization that would develop and maintain SciFi related-information content driven sites. With that we created the group called “FrakMedia Productions“. Please read more on the official announcement.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances in my personal life (which I won’t go into here), I won’t be able to go to Comic Con this year.

While not exactly Battlestar Galactica related, I personally thought that I’d let everyone know that actor David Hewlett’s “A Dog’s Breakfast” has been released on iTunes and Amazon.com’s Unbox.

As something of a David Hewlett fan, I was ecstatic when I saw the news bit, since the DVD is not due out until September.
