There’s currently a proposal to have an official presence on MySpace.
Please review it here and discuss the issue either here or as a response in this blog post.

Hello. My Space would be best. Even if it does have problems we have to live with them if we want to expand the site. Another thing that would bring in more people is to create a video showing how great bsg is and posting it on you tube and put the website in the discription. Plus their is a website called face book and we could create a website account up their which could also help. Etheir on of these 3 things would be a great step in expanding the website.
Facebook seems to be popular at the moment. It would be quite simple to create a BSWiki group on there, much quicker than setting up a MySpace.
I like the idea also of some kind of advertising video on YouTube, i’m not sure exactly how it would work though and what content it would have.
My thoughts on this…
If we are to have a presence on MySpace, we may as well have a presence on Facebook as well.
If we are to video advertise on YouTube, we would have to be careful to respect copyright law. Using clips from the show for promotional purposes wouldn’t pass as fair use under US copyright law, so it would have to be totally fan created, as far as I know.
I think its a great idea to at least go for a Myspace page. Given that Sci Fi don’t seem to have used Myspace to promote BSG via an official site, this Wiki site would be a useful gathering place for fans.
