Spurred by the discussion of gender contributions, I took a look at our audience composition, and some of the results are downright interesting, not only in terms of gender, but also in terms of income, family situation, and even sites that share a similar audience composition to us.

How is that data compiled though? I have never been asked any demographic information myself and I would argue that the “Other” ethnicity is actually white.
Most of the data relates to US visitors only. I do like how we regulars make up roughly 1/5 of the users, but make more than half of the visits
