The update will take place around 7:00~7:30am EDT on May 2nd, 2007. This will allow the wiki to be open for all of today to allow work on the pages. However, I expect no problems in the update, the wiki of course will be locked for a short time to allow no conflicts with the upgrading process. There are a series of updates so this will be the only notice. I been told by the developers that the “final release version” will be up by the end of the week.
As usual, once the upgrade is complete, please use this blog post to post any problems or get in contact with me [[User talk:Shane|on my talk page]] and I will address them when I can. Thank you!
Update is complete. Chinese wiki is the only with with problems.

7:00~7:30am EST on May 2nd, 2008
Why wait another year? Why not do it tomorrow? And why do it on 7 AM Australian time? (You probably mean EDT)
Seriously, good luck on the upgrade.
Oh, it appears both Australia and the Eastern Seaboard use the abbreviation EST (for completely different timezones, talk about clarity). Anyway, do you mean EDT (with DST) or EST (without DST). Not that it matters much, but for clarity’s sake…
Doh and dobule doh.
Fixed.
This is why you cant ever lose with GMT. Everyone know what they are +/-
Alright — it’s going to be done once I get some rest. If I attempt to do this now.. I will mess it up and delete the database.
So put off for a good 9 hours.
*pokes shane* 9 hours eh
hehe
*me takes a stick and starting poking Mercifull back*
Doesn’t everyone know that Eastern time is really the only time that matters, because that’s my time zone?
