Well, I found a fix for the speed issues. Apparently, the PHP accelerator was turned off somehow, probably when the server was being configured, I imagine. I have reactivated it and there is a noticeable increase in the speed and responsiveness of the wiki.

So say we all.

    Nice! I guess that goes on the checklist now:
    * webserver up
    * squid up
    * php accelerator up

    (Though I imagine there’s more items on the checklist than that.)

    I’m not sure if everybody really understands/appreciates what a wreck this place would be without Joe and Shane doing the dirty work down in the boiler room.
