The Battlestar Wiki has been e-mailed by AdBrite’s Account Executive, Kevin Weatherman, about advertisers who are interested in advertising on the Wiki. Sites such as www.thsale.com (a site dedicated to MMORPGs) and other gold member sites are apparently interested, but are wanting a better ad placement on the wiki before committing.
The suggestion given by AB was to put the ads on the top of the page and on the left (likely underneath the sidebar boxes). Joe told Kevin that this would be discussed with members before going ahead with a decision. Please visit the Wiki page for the discussion on this matter.

Well. So igogl.com want to advertise on the Wiki
Hi flyingchong,
igogl.com doesn’t seem to exist.
Did you happen to mean: igogi.com?

Likely to be a spam experiment perhaps, Joe?
“Likely to be a spam experiment perhaps, Joe?”
I don’t know. Anything is possible.
Flyingchong, if you want to advertise on the Wiki, go to:

I am interested in advertising my Gaia Online gold website. Where will my AdBrite ad appear?
Gaiapros,
It’ll appear on the left sidebar of the website. See here. It is rendered on every page of the Wiki itself, including the German, Turkish, French, and the Media repository. (It also appears here on the blog as well.)

Unlinked urls in this post. Worried that these were purely meant to boost their own page rank aka spam, no intention to advertise properly on the wiki.
