Hello! Welcome to the Battlestar Wiki blog.

The blog is presently undergoing development. It hasn’t “launched” yet, but since someone is bound to come across it sooner rather than later, I’d like to take this opportunity to discuss why Battlestar Wiki needs a blog.

In lieu of the mass of Battlestar Galactica and Science Fiction blogs proliferating the internet, the purpose of this blog is really two fold:

  • To have a centralized area for updates across all the Battlestar Wikis. As we expand into having multiple language versions, it has come to our attention that having a centralized area for updates is required for consistent communication across the board.
  • Most importantly, this is to find out what our viewers (the silent lurkers, the people who are afraid to contribute for fear of throwing a wrench into the works, and “wikiholics”) think about what’s going on. It’s a controlled means to communicate to our viewers, as well as for them to give us feedback on the ever changing face of Battlestar Wiki.

So within the few days, we hope to officially launch the blog with updates from not only your’s truly (as the operator of Battlestar Wiki), but from members of both our administrator group and those of the regular contributors in the trenches, as it were.

I personally look forward to hearing from you as the wiki continues on its journey.

Be seeing you.
